On the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the illustrious Official College of Physicians of Melilla, on 16 April 2026, Dr Arráez gave a lecture entitled Neurosurgery in the 21st Century. At the College of Physicians' headquarters, he took a journey through this specialty from its origins to the current sophisticated state of intraoperative methods. The organiser was Dr Justo Sánchez Miña, president of the aforementioned college, and Dr Arráez was introduced by the head of the Neurosurgery Unit of Melilla, Dr Abdelmalik El Barkani.
Following the conference, a lively debate was established regarding the present and future of the specialty. In the photo, we can see the course's teaching staff, made up mainly of neurosurgeons and ENT specialists.
