In Novo Said, Serbia, from 23 to 26 October 2025, the annual congress of the Serbian Neurosurgical Society was held, covering topics in neurosurgical training, medico‑legal issues, and ethics.
The opening lecture, known as the Majid Samii Tribute Lecture, was delivered by Dr. Arráez. His talk focused on the peculiarities of neurosurgical training and the learning curve required to incorporate new technologies.
Among the attendees was Dr. Majid Samii, a living legend of neurosurgery who remains active despite being close to 90 years old.
