On April 23-24, 2025, Harvard University hosted two neurosurgical events. Dr. Arraez, a member of the Yasargil Academy of Microsurgery, gave a lecture on surgical treatment of third ventricle and sellar region lesions.
The next day, he spoke on humanitarian aid in global neurosurgery at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate, with over 300 neurosurgeons attending.
Dr. Miguel Ángel Arraez previously chaired the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) from 2015-2021. In the photos, with Dr. Walter Johnson and Kee Park, delegates from the World Health Organization and Director of the Global Neurosurgery Chair at Harvard University.
