On April 16, 2026, to mark the anniversary of the foundation of the Illustrious Official College of Physicians of Melilla, Dr. Arráez delivered a keynote lecture titled «21st Century Neurosurgery.« During the session held at the College’s headquarters, he provided a comprehensive overview of the specialty, tracing its evolution from its historical origins to the contemporary sophistication of intraoperative resources.
The event was organized by Dr. Justo Sánchez Miña, President of the College, and Dr. Arráez was introduced by Dr. Abdelmalik El Barkani, Head of the Neurosurgery Unit of Melilla. The lecture was followed by a dynamic discussion regarding the current status and future prospects of the field.
