From May 7 to 10, 2025, the city of Rome hosted the 64th congress of the Society of Hospital Neurology. During the event, multiple aspects related to neuroscience and neurology were discussed. Dr. Arráez was invited to participate in a roundtable on the training of new generations of neurosurgeons, focusing on learning techniques for complex skull base surgery, which requires a deep understanding of neuroanatomy.
In the roundtable, Dr. Arráez shared his experience and knowledge alongside other prominent neurosurgeons, such as Dr. Luciano Mastronardi from Rome and Dr. Luc De Waele from Belgium. The discussion centered on best practices for teaching and learning the complex surgical techniques necessary for skull base surgery. Adequate training of neurosurgeons is crucial to ensure the safety and success of surgical procedures.
